Why I started WILDFOLK: A personal Journey

I didn't set out to start a self-care brand. But somewhere along the way, I realized I'd lost myself.

Like so many of us, I was living small—dimming my light, quieting my voice, trying to fit into boxes that were never meant for me. I was exhausted, burnt out, and desperately craving something more.

That's when I discovered what real self-care meant. Not the Instagram-perfect version, but the messy, transformative kind. The kind that asks you to look inward, to honor yourself, to reclaim the parts of you that the world tried to tame.

WILDFOLK was born from that journey.

Why Medusa Speaks to Me

When I came across Medusa's story, something clicked. Here was a woman who was transformed, vilified, turned into a monster for her power. But what if we rewrote that narrative? What if her wild snake hair wasn't a curse—but a crown?

To me, Medusa represents every person who's been told they're "too much." Too loud, too wild, too intense. She's a reminder that our power isn't something to hide—it's something to embrace.

That's what I want WILDFOLK to be for you.

What We're Really About

Every candle I pour, every bath melt I craft, every bar of soap—they're love letters to the wild soul in all of us. These products are my way of saying: you deserve this moment. You deserve to slow down, to nurture yourself, to remember who you are beneath all the noise.

When you light one of our candles or sink into a warm bath with our melts, I hope you feel it. That whisper that says, "You are powerful. You are worthy. You are enough."
